I just wanted to wish all my fellow Canadians a Happy Canada Day! I’m Canadian and wish I could be there to celebrate Canada Day with my family.
For those of you who don’t know what Canada Day is, here’s quick history fact.
On July 1, 1867, Canada became a self-governing dominion of Great Britain and a federation of four provinces: Nova Scotia; New Brunswick; Ontario; and Quebec. The anniversary of this date was called Dominion Day until 1982. Since 1983, July 1 has been officially known as Canada Day.
Happy Father’s Day! Enjoy your day today. I lost my Father a while ago, and I remember him especially on Father’s Day. I thank my Dad for his love, patience, and words of wisdom he instilled in me. God bless all the Dad’s out there!

Happy Easter everyone!
Today on Easter let us remember the sacrifice Jesus has made for us by dying on the cross, and on Easter he was resurrected. The risen Lord has come into our lives and blessed us. Let us celebrate this Easter with the greatest gift – eternal life with Jesus in heaven. Have a Blessed Easter.
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” (NIV)

My heart goes out to the survivors of the Typhoon in the Philippines. So many people or without shelter, food, water, and basic living necessitates. Not only have they suffered great trauma, they have lost everything, and need our help. If you feel inclined, click HERE to donate through the American Red Cross to the victims of the Typhoon. Every little bit helps. You can donate any amount, large or small. I continue to keep the survivors in prayer, and that they may have relief soon.
